Personal Page Project

Each of you will create a personal page on our class website.
The purpose of the page is to:
o Present your interests
o Learn more about your interests
o Teach others about your interests
Options (choose any activities that will add up to a total of 50 points).
Provide a brief description of your interest. This paragraph must be from 50-75 words long and written in complete sentences. (10)
Create an art project which illustrates your interest. If it is not created on the computer, expect to scan it, or a picture of it, in order to include it in your web page. You must include a paragraph of at least 4 sentences that describes how the art project illustrates your interest. (15)
Create a time line of the major events that have shaped your interest. (5)
Find at least 3 Internet resources about your chosen interest and include them as links on your page. (5)
Design a poster about your interest. I will be looking at how well it explains it your interest and how well it looks. (10)
Create a subpage that is a glossary of 10 words that relate to your interest. You should have word and picture descriptions for each word. (15)
Create a slideshow about your interest and include it on your page. Your slideshow can have a maximum of 5 slides in it. It needs to combine text and pictures. (15)
Write a poem or song about your interest. (5)
