Mr. Bartley lent me a book called “Greatest Mysteries of the Unexplained”. I think this is a good book for anyone that loves mysteries and stories that are very abnormal. I think people would like to read about mysteries that are also real stories because they sound amazing and sometimes people have not proven the existence of these stories and some people might want to hear people theories and different views of these stories.
I am allowed to keep it until I am done the book. There are 12 chapters and they are all about different themes of mystery. Some of the chapters are about Disappearances, Ghosts, Special Powers, Curses, religions, and more. Some of the stories are about The Dinosaurs, haunted houses, Lake Monsters, and UFOs My favorite story was about Amelia Earhart. Amelia Earhart was the first women pilot on a plane. In the story they explained about what she did and where she went flew to.
This book was published in 2005. It has information dating from BC times all the way to December, 2004. Another Story is called ‘‘Skinwalkers’’. It is about people that were able to change forms from a human to an animal. The Skinwalkers were all seen in the state of Utah in the United States. In one sighting, a family was driving home from Wyoming and they were all alone on the road for several hours before seeing headlights behind them. They kept driving and said that they felt comforted that there would be someone to help them if their car broke down. But then the lights from the car disappeared. They decided to go back, thinking that whoever was in the other car might need help. When they went to help, they saw a monstrous beast dressed in a man’s clothes. They described it as being black and very hairy, with long arms that clung onto the side of the car. The beast attacked the family when they were in their car and they sped away fast to get away from the creature.
Once I would start a story in this book, I wanted to read the whole book without stopping because I would think of what the next story might be about.
